Verification methodology

How FixLine builds and verifies the college pages

Direct answer: Each published college page must have current official-source evidence for an entrepreneurship or small-business credential, course/pathway, incubator, SBDC, founder program or closely related business-ownership offering. FixLine does not treat those categories as interchangeable.

1. Primary-source first

Program claims are based on college catalogs, official program pages, official schedules, college-hosted SBDC/incubator pages or other first-party institutional materials. Each college page links the sources used.

2. Claim strength follows evidence

If the college publishes a degree or certificate, the page may call it a degree or certificate. If evidence only supports a course, workshop, incubator or entrepreneurship-support program, the page says exactly that instead.

3. No campus-count inflation

When one institution operates multiple campuses under one college identity, FixLine generally publishes one institutional page rather than manufacturing duplicate campus pages merely to increase the page count.

What FixLine adds

FixLine adds independent editorial analysis: local economic context, opportunity categories, practical constraints and ideas for turning coursework into customer discovery or a 90-day action plan. That analysis is not presented as a statement by the college.

How AI is used

AI assists with research organization, comparison, drafting and personalization. Pages are structured around cited institutional facts and differentiated local context rather than publishing generic school-name substitutions. The personalized report is also AI-assisted and remains educational and informational rather than a guarantee of employment or income.

Verification date and corrections

The current site-wide verification pass is dated August 2026. Programs can change. If a college changes a credential, course or entrepreneurship resource, the page should be updated to match the current official source.
